The Book of Bonding

The story is about two six-year-old girls, Emma and Olivia, who are talking animatedly about a book called “Why a Daughter Needs a Mom”. Emma boasts that she reads the book every night with her mom and loves the charming illustrations and heartwarming rhymes. Olivia is curious about the story of how the special bond between a mother and daughter is developed. As they talk more about the book, Olivia realizes that Emma has been making up stories to make her relationship with her mom seem perfect, like in the book. Olivia helps Emma understand that the book is just one way of showing how much a mother loves her daughter and that it’s okay to have a different kind of relationship with her mom.
